We invited a dozen kids over from my niece and nephew's classes. All morning long, we've been baking (mummy hot dogs), mixing (peanut butter pumpkins), dipping (chocolate covered nutter butter bugs), readying craft projects (Ho-Ho Cats, Marshmallow on Pretzel witches, cats, and other creatures, and nutter butter witches), mixing (Uncle Dan's and cottage cheese/sour cream), and presenting (DECORATIONS ALL OVER THE HOUSE!).
The party went off swimmingly and the best part of the whole thing was that the kids chose to eat the good-for-them stuff (veggies!) rather than the sweets. :)
We had a great scavenger hunt, too. It's tough for kids to come up with "a song and a dance" and "a piece of magic" to put in their buckets! Hehehe
Good exhausted, but still spent.
